After ordering my last bodysuit off Fever I am now addicted! The latest items to be added to my collection include these two:
Needless to say the quality of these products is amazing. I have ordered off many sites over the years including all the main lingerie brands (Slight lingerie obsession!) but Fever Collection is by far my favourite! I will be posting more pictures on my Instagram over the next few days including a Makeup look with the Alice in Wonderland costume!
So I recently heard a lot of people raving about Nutribuddy and saying how they toned up in 2 weeks. After re-searching the company I decided to try their weight-loss plan. This costs £70 and comes with a pack of multi-vitamins, a ‘Hunger Fix’ mix and Sculpting Whey. I just take one vitamin a day, then take one hunger fix before lunch (You can take two if you’re really hungry) and I take a shake before the gym! I haven’t been hungry at all and the shake is absolutely delish! I haven’t cut out any meals or anything (I love my food too much!)
The lovely people at Nutribuddy also throw in a free booklet which has an amazing two week plan also. I have been on the plan for one week now and can already feel a difference. I have so much more energy and feel more toned and less ‘Wobbly!’
As if a free booklet wasn’t enough, Nutribuddy have also given me a discount code for all of my lovely subbies! Click the link below and when you check out the discount will be applied.
OK, so it’s February again…. which means, that little chubby man with a bow and arrow is just around the corner. Whether you are in a relationship, looking for love, or having some no-strings-attached fun, one thing is for sure…… you want to feel sexy. No matter what size or shape you are, sexy lingerie will make you feel amazing!
Here are my top 5 reasons to wear sexy lingerie (As if we needed any!)
You feel glamourous… – Wearing a matching bra and underwear makes you feel sexy even if you throw your most boring clothes on top!
It flatters and accentuates your curves – One thing I will always say.. get properly measured for your bra-size. You wont believe the difference it makes. Wearing a bra thats too small only leaves you with 4 boobs and muffin top on your back!
You feel empowered – Studies show that when women have important business lectures/events, wearing sexy lingerie boosts your confidence, and gives you a feeling of empowerment.
You ooze confidence – And there’s nothing more attractive than a woman who’s confident and in control.
He will enjoy it – Don’t think I need to elaborate in this point… but, you walk into a room, he sees what you’re wearing… boom.
Of course another tip I would have is wear what you feel comfortable wearing! Don’t go to the gym wearing a full corset and suspenders under your trackies!
I have an obsession with lingerie and since moving to the UK I have been on the prowl for some high quality bodysuits. My favourite site to buy off so far is Fever Lingerie. Their products are so well made and there really is something for everyone. The have a huge range of bodysuits, lingerie, dress up outfits and role play, hosiery, bodywear, wigs and even eyelashes. Wether you want a cute bra-let and matching french knickers or full on bondage, they will have something for you!
So nowadays there are so many make up artists knocking about that they can get taken for granted. However, one man who appreciates his MUA more than most is Leonardo DiCaprio. He has described his personal make up artist as a “genius” and the Welsh born Sian Grigg (From Cardiff) has been nominated for an Oscar for her efforts in The Revenant.
Sian has been working with Leo since Titanic. She has also won other awards including BAFTA Award Winner for ‘Best Make-Up & Hair’ on ‘The Aviator’
Leo thanked Ms Grigg during his acceptance speech at the Golden Globes, where he won the Best Actor Award for the film.
“My make-up artist, Sian Grigg, you are an unbelievable talent, thank you for all the genius that you brought to this movie” he said.
Click here to see the full speech. Always nice to see a true gent appreciating a work of art!
I am looking to find some new talented Makeup Artists to follow. This is across all social media sites so if you know of any talented MUA’s (new to makeup or veterans!) feel free to comment their links to all social media below.
I have some exciting opportunities coming very soon also for fellow beauty bloggers!
Lately everybody is looking for the ‘Kylie Jenner Lip’. Now, while I do believe she has had fillers, I also think that you can achieve fuller lips just by using make up to your advantage.
Here is a quick pictorial on how I achieve fuller looking lips without needles!
1. Exfoliate your lips by brushing them with a toothbrush. This will get blood flowing to your lips which will help plump them out.
2. Brush a light layer of foundation/concealer over your lips and follow with a light layer of regular face powder (this will help any lipstick last much longer).
3. Line the outside of your lips with a nude liner – I use number 63 from Inglot Cosmetics. To make your lips look fuller line slightly outside of your natural lip-line. If you have a smaller top lip and large bottom lip (or vise versa) just line the smaller lip outside the lip line and line the bigger lip normally. This will even out the shape.
4. Use the same lip liner and fill in the top and bottom corners of your lips.
5. Fill in the rest of your lip with a nude lipstick. I use ‘Barely There’ from Wet’n’Wild. Make sure your liner is blended into your lipstick!
6. Sharpen the edges of your lipstick by using a small amount of concealer on a stiff brush and outlining your lips.
So there you have it – fuller lips without the anaesthetic!
I finally got my hands on Mac’s Pro-Longwear shadow in ‘Uninterrupted’ Absolutely love it! It is a mustardy brown shade which sounds so wrong, but somehow it’s oh so right! The pro-longwear shadows are so blendable and pigmented and are much bigger than regular Mac shadows (3g). They are really long lasting and easy to apply.

Here Is a spotlight eye I created. I used ‘Uninterrupted’ in the crease of my eye, blended out with a really bright yellow shadow and a white highlight under my brow. I also put the bright yellow in my tear duct for a bit of a change! I find yellow works really well with the ‘Uninterrupted’ shadow as it compliments the mustard tones.

So, just before Christmas I celebrated (Not so much celebrated….. more like dreaded) my birthday. One of the presents that I had heavily hinted for was the Objects Of Affection collection from Mac.
The pigments were presented in little oval boxes with glittery lids and a cameo medallion in the centre. I am a sucker for packaging so I was sold from the get-go! There are three collections. The Silver & Blue Collection came with a glittery créme lid.The Gold & Beige collection was topped off wit a sparkly grey lid, and last but definitely not least, The Pink & Rose set had a mysterious black glistening lid.
Each box contains five 0.09ounce glass bottles of magic…. There are 4 regular pigments and one glitter per set. Each set also has two shades that have been released before and 3 that are limited edition.
All of the pigments just glide on and are so easy to blend. I find for sticking the glitters it is best to use a base like a face primer, Duo Adhesive or Inglot’s Duraline. I tend to use an eyeshadow base always when applying pigments as it makes the colour come out a lot stronger and last a lot longer on. Also using a fluffy brush will help the pigments blend (In the crease), while using a stiff brush will make the colour more concentrated and packed on (great for on the lid/brow highlight).
Swatches – Objects Of Affection
I love mixing these pigments with Duraline to create lip stains or liners. The lighter pigments can be dusted on the top of the cheekbones to add a glow to the face and create a dewey look. I especially love ‘Whisper Pink’ and ‘Lithe’ as highlighters. ‘Tan’ and ‘Rose’ look great used on the cheekbones as a blush. It does state on Mac’s website that the pigments are not for use on the eyes however I regularly use them on my eyes and have had no problems – do a patch test first. I will be posting looks using these sets on my Instagram shortly. Feel free to comment any opinions below!
So it is that time of year again, award season kicks off in style with the Golden Globes. Last year’s hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will return again this year to host the 72nd Annual Golden Globes.
Personally I love seeing the make up and outfits worn at the event. There has been some questionable make up looks since the Awards started.
Who can forget Angelina Jolie’s 2002 appearance when her brows appeared to be drawn on with a sharpie. They were far too defined and squared off. She lacked definition in her face, a bit of contouring/blush would have warmed up her face and given it some shape. Even her liner looked like it was done by a very unsteady hand. Angelina has a very square shaped face which was only accentuated by very arched eyebrows. Also the white highlight on her brow bone did not help the situation!

Another memorable make up mishap was in 2001 when Kim Cattrall rocked up to the event looking like she had spent a week in a sun-bed…….. from the neck up! Her face was far too bronzed up for her body which may have looked okay-ish in person but photographed terribly!

Another victim of bad make up at the 2001 Golden Globes was Thora Birch. I dont think I need to go into too much detail with this one but I will say one thing – Blending is key. This is why you should always blend eyeshadow. The last thing you want is to look like some one did your make up with a Crayola.

Lets just repress these memories and move onto some beautiful make overs of last year’s 71st Golden Globes. One of my favourite looks from 2014 was the absolutely stunning Amber Heards. Her hair and make up really complimented each-other. I love her bronzed eye look, it was natural enough to be timeless but dramatic enough to make her eyes the main focus even with a strong outfit and hair.

I absolutely loved Kate Beckinsale’s look too. She had such an amazing dewey finish to her foundation which really made her look flawless.

Sophia Vergara nailed the under-stated eye and bold lip combo. She paired flicked liner with a soft pink lip and flawless skin. This look really worked with her features and was natural enough. She wore a statement necklace so the make up was toned down a little.

Mila Kunis went with a grey-toned smokey eye which worked well with her outfit. However I do think her hair could have been slightly more dramatic. I totally get that they were trying to keep it toned down because of the neckline of the dress but I think it could have had a little more volume.

Heidi Klum went very natural as her dress was so detailed. She kept her skin dewey and lined her water-line with a nude kohl pencil to make her eyes appear much bigger. Love this look!

The last look that I want to mention is Sarah Hyland. She decided to go natural too with emphasis on a strong brow.

As always I can’t wait to see what everyone wears this year! Im sure there will be some amazing looks.
As always I love hearing from you guys so feel free to comment with any thoughts you may have!
